Minotaurs are hulking creatures that look like half-human, half-bull monstrosities. While many minotaurs conform to the classic image of a bull’s head atop a human body, others appear much more like humans, distinguished primarily by their immense size and bull-like horns. In spite of this, many mortals treat them as little more than bipedal beasts of burden.

Cursed#

Minotaurs are the descendants of a cursed tribe of humans who angered the gods. They are often shunned by the other mortal species, living on the outskirts of civilization in small nomadic tribes.

Shapechangers#

Some minotaurs are born with the ability to shapeshift fully into bulls. This transformation is triggered by extreme anger or stress. Minotaurs who make their living as warriors eventually master this transformation and learn to control it.
