Though dragons dislike being treated as pack animals, they willingly bear burdens when necessary. A Hatchling Dragon has a carrying capacity of 50 pounds, a Juvenile Dragon 250 pounds, and a Young Dragon 500 pounds.

Mature dragons make long-distance travel far easier. Juvenile and Young Dragons can carry only their Dragonlord, while an Adult Dragon can carry up to four riders, and an Ancient Dragon up to sixteen. When an entire group travels by dragonback, overland travel speeds increase dramatically.

Travel times are adjusted as follows:

  • Normal Pace. 48 miles per day.

  • Fast Pace. 90 miles per day.

  • Slow Pace. 36 miles per day.
